Chris & Kirst were married at Wynford guest farm, which happens to be their beautiful family farm overlooking the Lesotho mountains on the left and South Africa on the right. It was a magical setting with gorgeous light, great food and lots of laughs throughout the few days we spent with them.

We took a little walk, which I thought felt like a hike, up the mountainside to Kirst’s favourite place on the farm to watch the sunset on the eve of their wedding day. It was such a picturesque view, looking over Lesotho and seeing the stray donkeys and sheep criss crossing through the rugged landscape.

Their wedding day was welcomed with excitement and sunshine. I felt like I was in one of Manet’s French paintings, filled with light dancing over everything and enveloping it in love as guests clinked their glasses and cheered while listening to heartfelt speeches about Chris & Kirst. Their parents looked on with pride and a few tears were shed. What a gorgeous day they had with friends and family who had traveled from far to be with them on their special day.

Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your love story. Here are some of my favourite images from their day. Thanks to Kelly Daniels for being my sidekick and for getting me up the “hill”.
