Greig & Michelle’s wedding was just inland from Ballito, at the Rain Farm.  I’ve know Greig for ages, through our Church and our families have been long time family friends. Photographing this wedding was a real honour and going to a wedding as both a guest and the wedding photographer was so much fun, although a strange concept for me. An hour before the ceremony my assistant and I were helping Greig arrange the name tags on the serviettes as there had been a power failure the night before so they weren’t able to finish the decor off as planned. The morning started out a little stressful due to the lack of power and a bride with wet hair which couldn’t be dried because there was no electricity.  Michelle transformed into a beautiful woman – even with damp hair, and Greig – well I think that was the most dressed up I had ever seen him.  Everyone had a so much fun catching up with old friends and family members. Their wedding day went off beautifully despite the snake which caused the power failure. The food was unbelievably amazing and I was really impressed with Rain farm.
Here are some of my favourite images from Greig & Michelle’s special day.

This emu, named “Bruce” just loved Michelle!! He kept coming on over to her – so she began dancing and calling “Brucy”, it was so funny…

Greig & Michelle, I wish you all the best for your life together as married couple. God Bless! x
